Our hypoallergenic venison recipe is highly palatable and a novel protein, it is an excellent alternative for dogs that may show signs of food intolerances such as those with gastrointestinal issues, skin irritations or other allergies from eating other proteins. This makes this recipe one of our best dog foods for allergies. As this venison dog food is lower in cholesterol your dog will also have a much better chance of maintaining a healthy heart. Venison contains lots of B vitamins and minerals such as zinc and iron. These are all important for protecting and making healthy tissue. Our multi-protein venison based recipe contains a total of 50% protein which can help keep energy levels high to help get more exercise.
Venison dry dog food with optimal nutrient bioavailability
Our human-grade A venison meat is slow-cooked at 90C which is a gentle temperature, we do this to retain the taste and freshness whilst protecting the quality of the protein and nutrients. Cooking at these temperatures allows the proteins to stay intact which means it will be easier to digest and absorbed by your pet, thus producing less waste! Should dog food be subjected to extremely high cooking temperatures ie 300C (which unfortunately is what does often happen) this would cause the protein to denature which in turn decreases its bioavailability.
