Benefits

Haddock
All our haddock, salmon and trout come from responsible and sustainable sources from within the UK. This makes our fish naturally high in Omega oils. Haddock contains plenty Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. This helps to lower LDL cholesterol and the chances of heart ailments. Omega-3 also helps your dog’s vision, brain development, skin, joints and it also helps to manage inflammation. Haddock also contains many vitamins and minerals, including calcium, magnesium and phosphorus that help maintain teeth and bones. Magnesium helps maintain healthy blood pressure and phosphorus is important for kidney health. The vitamins in haddock also include B12 which is good for repairing, maintaining and making red blood cells, plus it is good for nerve health. The vitamin B6 in haddock is essential for skin health and helps to clear dandruff, eczema, dry skin and even helps prevent hair loss.

Sweet potato
Sweet potato is rich in fibre, they are also easily digestible. This sweet potato for dogs recipe helps to prevent vitamin A deficiency because of their high levels of beta-carotene, this vitamin is integral for promoting good vision. They also contain vitamin C and E, all of which promote skin and hair health. Vitamin C is critical for a properly functioning immune system. As sweet potatoes contain a significant amount of fibre, they also promote a well-functioning digestive tract, which helps to provide good stool formation. They are also an important source of magnesium, which helps alleviate the symptoms of anxiety-related behaviours.

Parsley
Parsley contains microbial properties to help freshen breath. It is also rich in antioxidants which help prevent free-radical damage eliminating harmful chemicals in the blood. It also helps relieve swelling and pain in arthritis and other inflammatory conditions. The vitamin K in parsley helps prevent blood clotting and improves liver health. Parsley can also help to soothe an upset stomach and digestive problems. It contains histidine, an amino acid found to help inhibit tumour growth. It is also known as a chemo-protective food.

Sunflower
Sunflower and olive oil has been added to this recipe to provide many additional benefits, such as vitamin E, which is an important antioxidant and a key player for optimal immune function. Both also help protect against heart disease. Sunflower oil also contains Omega 6, which helps to lower harmful LDL cholesterol. It also contains linoleic acid which is an essential fatty acid that lowers the risk of heart disease. Unfortunately, dogs can’t make this themselves, which is why it has been added to this recipe. Olive oil is also anti-inflammatory. It supports healthy ageing, fights cancer and is a great source of amino acids. Both also protect against eye, skin and coat problems, which is great for dogs. They also help to clean the digestive tract and improve bowel movements!

MOS and FOS
This fish kibble contains the natural prebiotics MOS and FOS that feed the good bacteria such as Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium found in the colon of our dogs. They come from plants such as asparagus, chicory and artichoke. The good bacteria then multiply so that bacteria such as salmonella and clostridium find it difficult to grow in numbers. This recipe is a perfect gastrointestinal dry dog food.

Linseed
Linseeds (also called flaxseeds) are rich in both Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids which dogs can’t make on their own. Omega 6 is important for immune and cell functions, and it helps to soften and shine coats. Omega 3 is essential to the brain, central nervous tissue, and vision. It is also known to reduce any joint and skin inflammation. Linseeds also make this dog food good for digestion because of their natural fibre content.
This is a holistic grain-free dog food without corn and wheat soy or fillers. It does not contain any meat protein, dairy or eggs. We never add salt to any of our recipes. There are no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or additives. All ingredients are UK sourced quality human-grade ingredients. It is gluten and lactose-free.

I have a Blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is allergic to life..! After extensive & exhausting research on dog food ingredients Nurtix Haddock Salmon Trout & sweet potato seems to be working for my dog as she was allergic to all meats especially chicken & had ear infections along with licking/chewing paws with some hair loss on the underside. Since on this diet, albeit only over a week amazing results. Stopped licking/chewing paws and hair regrowth.
Fingers crossed… it really pays to find the right ingredients for your dog, as it seems the love for the animals has long gone with vets nowadays it’s all about the money & wanting to inject steroids into animals.

Cannot rate this food highly enough, it has helped my dogs ear infection issues and since being this food we haven't had any trips to the vets , only reason I've given 4 stars is the price, it is very expensive !!! For us with a 35 kilo labradoodle it works out at around £50 a month, but definitely recommend.

Ozzie's been on Nutrix 3 for months now, haddock and sweat potatoes. He suffers with a bad ear which vets seem to think is food allergies, we've tried everything from raw To hypoallergenic grain free and Hydrolyzed, this is ( touch wood )working for him , I can't recommend this company highly enough, easy to buy Fast delivery ...

Allergic dog

This food has saved our dog from constant ear infections, which after numerous tests, several years of vets bills for all medications to treat everything from ruptured eardrums to milder ear problems, This was related to Allergies then after some test, the final decisions was to try a very limited diet of white fish, so after a few months of feeding him only on raw fish and potatoes I needed to reintroduce a food with only this but with the added nutrients and vitamins lacking in his very limited fish diet,, after some research I found Nutrix, BEST decision I made this food ( Haddock and sweat potato Hydrolyzed )👍 suits my dog ,, no more ear infections no more trips to the vets ,, winner !!! A bit expensive but when I compare to how much I spent at the vets AND MOST IMPORTANTLY A VERY HAPPY DOG ,, 3 plus years now 👍

My dog was allergy tested after years of struggling with continuous ear infections, tests results showed he was allergic to so many common foods and after months of a restricted diet we tried nutrix Haddock and sweet potato, at the time it was fingers crossed hope this works but within a few wks we knew had cracked it, ear problems have continued to stay good since being on this, Down side is it is very expensive but Up side NO MORE vets bills NO more painful ears Plus He love it win win

My doodle has bad ears, after having him tested for allergies, discovered he needed to be on a fish based food, tried a well known hydrolysed food, suggested by our vet he slightly Improved but infections came back after about 6 wks, he's now been on the haddock and sweet potato for probably about 9 months and fingers crossed no more sore ears, he's so much happier, food maybe seem expensive but when you way up costs of vets fees I'm not paying out for it's been worth every £, THANKYOU Nutrix.
